IMD appoints Head of Bid Management

IMD are delighted to announce that Anne Christie has joined us as Head of Bid Management.

Anne is an extremely experienced Bid Manager, having successfully planned, managed, and delivered a wide range of complex high-value bids and secured frameworks across Defence, Government and the NHS. She is driven by ensuring the application of professionalism and excellence across the bid process and securing contracts through submission of the highest quality proposals.

Anne’s career spans more years than she cares to admit to! She brings a wealth of experience from consultancy and working in the public sector, with previous roles including biochemical scientist, analyst programmer, trainer, project procurement and implementation manager, quality manager and consultant. Her expertise includes bid process improvement, training and motivational management of bid teams, developing and implementing brand and marketing strategies, and campaign planning.

Away from work, Anne enjoys looking after her garden, working with horses and walking her excitable labrador, Angus, who she is currently training to compete with Scentwork UK.

Anne says “I am relishing the opportunity to use my skills and experience to help IMD reach their ambitious goals as they move into the next phase of growth. It is a real pleasure to be working with Dean and many former colleagues again, as well as building new relationships with the truly talented group of people within IMD. I’ve been given such a warm welcome and the opportunity to really use my experience to help the company develop and fulfil its potential. The next few years are going to be very busy and exciting!”

IMD CEO Dean Taylor adds “It is fantastic news that Anne has joined IMD Group. Her bid management skills, professionalism and great happy outlook on life is perfect for us as we continue to grow. I’ve been lucky enough to work with Anne twice before and am delighted that we have recruited such a talented individual.” Welcome Anne!
