Sophie is a recent Psychology graduate of the University of Birmingham. Her studies have equipped her with a broad range of core skills to build upon in her later career and professional research experience, statistics, written reports and critical thinking. She aims to use her degree-gained understanding of how others think, interact and operate within and between businesses to improve everyone’s business experience.
Within her administrative experience, Sophie is highly skilled in organising, managing operations and delivering warm customer service. She has worked within diverse industries such as customer-facing retail, environmental testing, recruitment and now training & learning development. She values positivity and integrity within any customer experience to ensure they can get the most out of the business.
At the start of this new role, she said: “It is a great pleasure to join the BMC and IMD Group team for me while the company is in growth. It feels like I can make a real impact, and there are already various opportunities opened for me. Everyone is being very welcoming and always available to help you out wherever they can. After all, a supportive team is one of the most important things in a job, and I hope to make an equally positive contribution within the company”.
In her spare time, Sophie enjoys delving into a good crime/thriller book, exploring the great outdoors, and she is a big “foodie”!
