IMD Group are pleased to announce the appointment of Philip Appleton as Managing Consultant.
On joining the company, Phil said, “A long, long time ago I served Queen and Country in the Fleet Air Arm. I left around the turn of the century to provide contract consultancy services first in Aerospace, and then subsequently in the Defence, Nuclear, Construction, Rail and Space sectors. I have worked for for General Dynamics, Qinetiq, AWE, Network Rail amongst others. During this time, I’ve held roles in Requirements, Configuration, Change & Portfolio management in both projects and operational environments – not all at the same time thankfully!
I am really pleased to be joining IMD at this exciting time, and hope to positively contribute to the expansion plans underway. I also hope to continue to learn and develop along with the company as our capability and capacity grows. The welcome I have been afforded makes me positive and confident about our future together.
Outside of work I regularly enjoy “a good walk spoiled”, more commonly known as golf. I have been refurbishing my house in Dorset for the last year, which has taken up much of my spare time. Hopefully the pending completion will free me up for a return to some cycling and swimming.”
CEO Dean Taylor comments, “I am really pleased that Phil has joined IMD Group. His experience across multiple markets in change and portfolio management will help our clients with their business transformation. He also brings his great sense of humour and will no doubt be a real asset to the team.”
