Our Learning and Development Centre
For more than 40 years, we have been delivering people-first learning and development to individuals and organisations. Building on our strong history of supporting armed forces veterans throughout their resettlement, we have established a broad spectrum of accredited training courses across Business Management, Programme and Project Management, plus specialist skills and methodologies – from Agile, ITIL and Cyber to all aspects of Project Controls.
We are extremely proud of the quality of our learning and development provision. We bring together a network of experienced practitioners with the latest best practice theories and methodologies, engaging practical applications and decades of lessons learned in the real world. Together, this helps us to deliver one-off training requirements, on-site support and coaching, eLearning and blended long-term learning and development programmes.
“Having left the military in 2013 after 23 years, I am now a Director in four businesses. BMC’s Executive Management programme provided an excellent grounding for my new career in the commercial sector and is a must for anyone starting their own business after life in the forces.”
Dougie Allen, CEO Great British Prawns Ltd
"The Bristol Executive Management Programme is an excellent course which gave me a head start in delivering the results I have achieved thus far in the Public and Corporate world. For me the most important lesson learned was the basics of how to interpret the financial situation of Companies, this continues to be 'utterly invaluable!'"
Dickie Davis OBE, Deputy Director for the Advanced Materials & Manufacturing Sector, Welsh Government
How we helped
Our CMI Level 7 accredited Executive Management Programme has helped veterans develop a strong foundation in Business Management while transitioning to a civilian career.
A tailored programme
We work closely with our delegates to review and tailor our programme to their most pressing needs – from broadening the appeal of their CV to adding contextual richness to the theory.
Expert technical input
We have partnered with Wiltshire College to provide technical input and delivery of the Associate Project Manager apprenticeship – providing an excellent foundation for future development.
Looking to the future
By monitoring the long-term effectiveness of learning and development programmes, we can continually refine their approach. Just like our recent project with Wessex Water.
Staying in touch
We keenly follow the progress of our alumni – continuing to support them in the ongoing development of their skills. Even long after their journey takes them to a ‘big four’ consultancy.
